- Easily FLY into Liberias Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport from anyplace in Canada.
- AIRPORT TRANSFER – we have a good trustworthy private car TAXI /UBER gent we’ve used many times and he’ll meet you right at the airport if you like & he’ll make sure you arrive safely. We can share his info if needed.
- SUNSETS are AMAZING almost every night- these pictures we’ve posted here are the real deal- you wont be disappointed!
- it’s WARM – have you ever been to Florida for the sun & its only 22 degrees? This is Central America, 36 deg most days!
- The WATER is SAFE to drink ( well we’ve never had any problems)
- The TAXI & UBERs work just like in Canada!
- Our Condo #4 is right beside THE nicest of the 6 POOLS in the wider complex you will have access to.
- Our condo opens right onto a gated parking lot & is an easy few steps for those ELDERLY/ OLDER travellers ( some of the other parts of the complex are quite hilly, our spot isn’t )
- There’s almost NO CRIME ( keep your wallets & passports safe but we’ve never heard of a mugging etc.)
- The CELLPHONE / INTERNET & Netflix / Streaming svcs work well
- There’s good MEDICAL/ DOCTORS facilities if needed
- There’s lots of good GROCERY STORES & one especially just as modern & full as any Loblaws Metro etc.
- For the DADS – the BEER “Imperial” is plentiful & not too expensive plus you can get most usual brands from around the globe & there’s no shortage of Wines & Liquors.
- For the DADS -this condo has 2 -count em 2 BBQ’s one is a small offset BBQ SMOKER!
- Our condo is only about an 8 minute walk to the beach where we’ve honestly never seen more than 35 people over the 3.5 km length of it at any one time.
- You can walk or UBER/TAXI to the main street with about 12 different RESTAURANTS & BARS /NIGHTLIFE/ LIVE MUSIC this walk takes about 20 mins -or- walk down to the beach turn left & stroll along the sand till you arrive there. As you do you’ll pass 3 different beachside bars/ restaurants like the “TORTUGA” ( our fav) and maybe stop there for drinks and food!
- It’s QUIET after dark, the condo complex after sundown is patrolled & is almost always very quiet. We’ve never heard or had any loud party goers here that I’ve seen. ( Usually an OLDER MATURE crowd) For nightlife refer to the above
- GATED Security entrances and keyed access to the complex with a guard in place.
- Coco Sunset #4 was just professionally RENOVATED by a lovely couple who make their living in Canada in that space.
- There’s lots to see & do if you want to explore ( there’s monkeys , volcanos, sloths , tour guides etc) or there’s lovely quiet lounge chairs on our rooftop patio or the other 2 decks or POOLSIDE for reading & chillin!
